There are many ways to improve your pickleball game:
** Hire a coach- may be pretty pricey!!
** Invent the paddle that makes no mistakes—keep on dreaming!
** Attend a pickleball camp—interesting but also may set you back a bit!
** Go to our web page (https://www.packerlandpickleballplayers.com/skills--strategy.html ) on skills and drills and make them a regular part of your play—tough to argue with that one!!
Basic concept is pretty simple, play with folks who have more experience, greater skills or just are tough to score on!!
Why you might ask? If you want to improve your game, play against more experienced players but you must involve them in the game and make sure you hit at least 55% of the balls to them! Do we get better by beating someone with lessor skills or abilities? I would suggest “No we don’t!”
If you want to learn new strategies, improve your shot selection, skills and overall game and make sure players with greater skills than you want to play with you, you have to hit them the ball or they may chose not to play with you and help you improve your game!
So, take the cheap way to improve.! Engage a more skilled player and hit at least 55% of the bills to them while 45% goes to their partner. You may not win every point but with practice you may learn new and better shots that will improve your game! Pickle on!!
