INDOOR PICKLEBALL SCHEDULES
Why are ratings important?
Assists players in identifying and evaluating their skill levels while determining the appropriate level of play to insure enhancement of skills.
Review the USAPA Ratings to obtain a very clear picture of the skills required to advance to a higher level of play.
Learns the basic skills of serving, forehand shots and has some ability to maintain rallies. Has a beginning knowledge of court sense and scoring.
Not everyone thrills at the level of competition that goes along with the aggressive play of pickleball, so The Kroc Center has created a special time for seniors--OK if you are not 62 or older--to enjoy the social aspect of the game while refining their skills and challenging their abilities.
Come play with a fun group of folks who are playing the game of pickleball simply for the exercise, enjoyment of the game and to have a ton of FUN!!
Has the ability to sustain longer rallies at moderate pace of ball speed, demonstrates awareness of the "soft" game and has the ability to provide directional movement to the ball, i.e., placement of the ball on the court.
Has begun to master all of the shots of pickleball: forehand, backhand, serve, directional control, dinking, lobbing, placement versus power shots and has developed a personal strategy based on their individual strengths.
